5 Hotel Spas on My To-Visit List

From London to Scottsdale, I’ll be traveling far and wide to visit the hotel spas on my 2022 dream destination list.

After a two-year hiatus (thanks to that pandemic that rhymes with “SCHMOVID”), I’ve decided it’s time to hop the pond again. So, this year’s to-visit list includes both domestic and international destinations. With that said, here are five spots where I think we should all indulge in a little 2022 spa self-care:

  • Chuan Body + Soul. Located in the historic Langham, London, this spa’s treatment menu is influenced by traditional Chinese medicine. My goal is to indulge in a stay that includes Langham Club privileges and a visit to Chuan to experience a treatment like the Magnesium Bamboo Ritual or the Ginger Renewal.

  • The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North. You’ll find this oasis in the midst of Scottsdale’s cacti desert terrain. I can’t wait to visit because this property is the perfect place to go for a hike or hit the driving range — and then enjoy a signature Weekend Warrior Massage or Prickly Pear Renewal body treatment at the property’s spa.

  • The Spa at The Ritz-Carlton Dallas. After a multimillion dollar renovation, this reopened its doors to 12,000 square feet of relaxation in late January. Complete with a nail and hair salon, and a spa dining lounge, I can’t wait to book a club level room and spend 48 hours immersing myself in this Texas relaxation space!

  • The Spa at Fearrington. Located near Chapel Hill, North Carolina, I think the Fearrington House Inn and spa will be the perfect destination for a weekend getaway. The vibe is country chic, and the treatment menu includes everything from nail services to wraps and exfoliations. (And BTW, consider visiting in the warmer months when you can enjoy wandering through the property’s gardens when they’re in full bloom.)

  • The Spa at the First Roma Musica. When I last visited Rome (just as the pandemic was beginning), I was told that this property was slated to open later that summer. After a two-year delay, the property and its spa look to be on schedule to open the doors in late spring/early summer. I’m a huge fan of the First Roma Arte, and can’t wait to lay eyes on its sister property, located along the banks of the Tiber.

Whether you’re looking for a morning filled with fitness; healthy food; and an IV therapy, or an indulgent afternoon that includes a massage; pedicure; and glass of bubbly, I’m here to make your personalized wellness dream a reality.
